Notice at Collection (California Law): We collect your name, email address, property address (Sensitive Personal Information under California law), and assessment data solely to provide your Zone Zero compliance service. We do not sell this information. See Sections 1, 5, and 9 for full details.

We use essential functional cookies to manage your payment session and ensure the service functions correctly. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We may also automatically collect limited technical data such as browser type and device type for service functionality purposes only.

We do not sell your personal contact information. We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment card information directly and operates under their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy

We will never sell, rent, or trade your name, email, phone number, or property address to insurance companies, contractors, real estate agents, or any other third party for marketing purposes.
Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you enter your payment card details, that information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers or in our systems.
We receive only a confirmation of successful payment from Stripe. We do not have access to your full card number, CVV, or billing information beyond what you voluntarily provide in the user information form (name and address).
Assessment Data & Research Consent
During the service process, we ask for your optional consent to use your assessment findings — including your property address and compliance data — in anonymized, aggregated form for wildfire safety research and community fire risk reporting.
If you provide this consent:
- Your data is anonymized before any research use — your name, email, and phone are never included
- Aggregated data may be used to identify compliance trends by neighborhood or ZIP code
- Your property address may appear in aggregate fire risk mapping without any personal identifiers attached
- We may share anonymized findings with fire safety researchers, Fire Safe Councils, or public agencies
If you do not provide consent, your data is used solely to deliver your personal service and is not included in any research or aggregated reporting.
You may withdraw your research consent at any time by contacting us at info@embrclearzone.app.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:
- Assessment records and reports are retained for up to 3 years to allow you to reference your compliance history
- Payment records are retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years)
- Email communications are retained in our business email system for up to 2 years
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
